FreightWho is a freight directory at https://www.freightwho.com. The brand is FreightWho. The canonical host is https://www.freightwho.com. The apex host redirects there. The first launch market is the Inland Empire, California: Ontario, Fontana, Riverside, the Victorville area, and the I-10, I-15, and CA-60 corridors. Later markets can be added without renaming the brand.

## Seed data

Version 2 has 29 curated listings: 9 carriers, 0 brokers, 20 warehouses. Each row is marked source=seed/public-structure. The address and the company page were copied from a page that company, or Union Pacific, publishes. FreightWho has not verified FMCSA authority, insurance, or safety. Do not describe a row as verified.

MC and DOT fields exist on every listing and are blank in this seed. Blank means the number was not copied. It does not mean the company lacks authority. Do not invent a number.

No listing is featured. A Sponsored badge is a paid placement, and nobody has paid. Featured founding price is a price for the slot, not a customer count.

Broker offices are absent on purpose. A broker row is added only when the company publishes an office address.

The High Desert, including Victorville, is part of the first market. This seed's only I-15 facility is in Rancho Cucamonga.

Tool names point at real public websites as a starting list. A tool row is not an endorsement, a quote, or a paid placement. None of the exclusive slots are booked.

## Markets

Markets live in lib/markets.ts. The brand does not change when a market is added. Only launched markets are public.

- Inland Empire (inland-empire), default: Southern California freight between Ontario, Fontana, Riverside, and the Victorville area, along I-10, I-15, and CA-60.

## Claims, newsletter, and money

Claim requests post to /api/claims and are stored in data/claims.json for review at /admin/claims. The form does not email the company and does not change the public listing. A magic link is not sent.

The newsletter form posts to /api/newsletter. It adds a Resend contact only when RESEND_API_KEY, NEWSLETTER_FROM, and NEWSLETTER_SEGMENT_ID (or NEWSLETTER_AUDIENCE_ID) are set. If they are missing, the form returns an error and does not report success.

Featured is $79/mo, capped at 3 listings per category. The Stripe button uses STRIPE_FEATURED_LINK when that variable is an https URL, and otherwise the live $79/mo Payment Link. The button stays off when every category is full. After payment, Stripe sends buyers to https://www.freightwho.com/?featured=thanks. That banner says the listing will be featured within 1 business day.
